They ride together.

Definitions:

Verbs are words that give the sentence action.
(Example 1, 2, 3 and 4)

Verbs also connect sentences together. (Example 5 and 6)

Predicates are all the words that follow the verb in a sentence. (Example 7 and 8)

Examples:

1. Go!

2. Stop!

3. Dogs bark.

4. People talk.

5. She is smart.

6. They are loud.

7. The men are riding a bike.

8. The students are talking to the teacher.

Exercise 1: Imagine you are a world famous doctor, and your newest patient is coming to you because she has had the hiccups for three years and needs a cure.
