Class 10-5: Using Expressions of Place with Progressive Tense

8-5 He is learning in flight school.

Rules:

Expressions of place with progressive tenses describes where the action is happening. A verb using present, past or future progressive will always be followed by a statement of place.

Examples:

The man is hiding behind the clock. The man is hiding (progressive) behind the clock. (statement of place)

John is running on the street. John is running (progressive) on the street. (statement of place)

Mike is reading in his room. Mike is reading (progressive) in his room. (statement of place)

Exercise 1: Use either simple present or present progressive to change the words in parenthesis to the correct form.
