Rules: He / She / It are singular nouns, so you must use a singular verb. (Example 1) is = singular auxiliary verb (Example 2) He / She / It is (Example 3) He / She / It bikes. (Example 4) *Note: “s“ is used at the end of the verb if the sentence has He / She / It as the subject. |
Examples: 1. He is going to the store. 2. She is going to the store. 3. It is going to the store. 4. She runs all day. (Note: You need an “s” at the end of run.) *Note: Was can also be used as the past tense form of is. |
